The second rowing cut, for people who wanted a different boat

Same steel, same rail, a different silhouette. Rowers are particular about this — an eight is not a single, and a display that shows the wrong boat gets noticed within about two seconds.

Everything else follows the range. A continuous rail rather than hooks, four widths, a mounting template in the box, and a second unit that lines up flush against the first when a crew has a good few years and runs out of room.

Between the two rowing designs, this one suits crew boats and the other reads better for scullers. Neither is more durable than the other — the difference is the cut, not the steel.

This medal holder comes in the widths listed here. For a gift, err wide — nobody has ever complained about too much room.

Not sure which size?

Regatta medals are heavy and wide-ribboned. If the rower races in eights, plan on fewer medals per rail than the table suggests.

The steel, and why it matters

Every medal display in the range is AISI 304 — the same grade used for kitchen surfaces and marine fittings — at 2.5-3 mm depending on width. It doesn't rust, doesn't chip, and doesn't need looking after.

The bar is continuous. That's the whole difference from a hook rack: hooks give you a fixed count, a rail gives you a length.

Fitting it to the wall

Comes with stainless standoffs, fixings and a paper drilling template. On plasterboard use proper anchors rather than the plugs supplied — a full display is heavier than it looks.

When it fills up

A second unit mounts flush against the first, so the wall still reads as one piece rather than two things hung near each other. The widest version holds up to 110 medals across three rails.

Delivery

Every medal display is cut and finished in our own workshop and dispatched within 3–5 working days. Returns accepted for fourteen days.
