Sparring, poomsae, and a decade of gradings
Taekwondo produces medals from two directions at once, and the belts arrive alongside them. A family with two children in the same club can end up with sixty pieces of metal and no idea what to do with them.
This design starts at 45 cm — the kicking figure has fine cut-out detail that doesn't hold at 35. Cut from 2.5 to 3 mm AISI 304 stainless steel, mounting kit included.
Clubs with a strong junior programme buy these in batches for grading days. If that's the case, the personalised version cuts the club name into the steel and works out well per unit at quantity.
This medal holder comes in the widths listed here. For a gift, err wide — nobody has ever complained about too much room.
Size & capacity
| Size | Steel | 1 rail | 2 rails | 3 rails |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| 45 x 8 cm | 2.5 mm | 13-20 | 24-36 | 34-50 |
| 60 x 11 cm | 3 mm | 21-30 | 38-55 | 55-75 |
| 75 x 11.5 cm | 3 mm | 31-45 | 55-80 | 75-110 |
Not sure which size?
Sparring and poomsae both award. A competitive junior collects roughly twice what a parent expects. This design is produced from 45 cm upwards — the cut-out detail doesn't hold at smaller widths.
The steel, and why it matters
Every medal display in the range is AISI 304 — the same grade used for kitchen surfaces and marine fittings — at 2.5-3 mm depending on width. It doesn't rust, doesn't chip, and doesn't need looking after.
The bar is continuous. That's the whole difference from a hook rack: hooks give you a fixed count, a rail gives you a length.
Fitting it to the wall
Comes with stainless standoffs, fixings and a paper drilling template. On plasterboard use proper anchors rather than the plugs supplied — a full display is heavier than it looks.
When it fills up
A second unit mounts flush against the first, so the wall still reads as one piece rather than two things hung near each other. The widest version holds up to 110 medals across three rails.
Delivery
Every medal display is cut and finished in our own workshop and dispatched within 3–5 working days. Returns accepted for fourteen days.
