Bought after a season that was mostly work

This one tends to go up at the end of a year with more early mornings in it than races — the winter of base miles, the block of training nobody saw, the two results that came out of it.

It is the men's cut of the design, one of three versions of the same wording. Four widths, AISI 304 stainless steel, and a continuous rail so the collection is limited by the length of the bar rather than by a count of hooks.

Three versions exist: men's, women's and one with no figure at all. Check which is in the basket before checkout, because the wording gives no clue.

Below are the widths this design is cut in. The honest advice for a gift is to size on the drawer, not on the wall.

Ten years of club racing is more medals than most people estimate. Count them properly before choosing.

Why stainless steel, not painted sheet metal

The medal hanger is cut from AISI 304 stainless steel (V2A / 1.4301), 2.5-3 mm thick depending on the width. Not painted sheet metal that chips at the first knock.

And it holds a continuous rail, not hooks. Twelve hooks means twelve medals. A rail holds as many as fit.

Mounting

Everything is in the box: stainless standoffs, screws, wall plugs and a paper template. Mark through the template, drill, done — about ten minutes.

Once there is no space left

The proportions are drawn so that two units stacked or lined up look like one piece of furniture rather than an afterthought. The widest version holds up to 110 medals across three rails.
